Whale Watching and Randoms

A couple of Saturdays Jeff and I went whale watching with his parents. This was the first time I have been on a boat in the ocean. It was a fun experience... no whales though but the Santa Cruiz Island was beautiful. Here are the photos!

It's kind of hard to see, but I love the stones under the trail in the middle of the picture. It makes me think of Europe or something like that. 

The boat stopped to pick up balloons out of the water. SAVE the whales!! haha

V-Day

Of course because it is our first Valentines Day as a married couple, I have to share what we did to celebrate our LOOOOVE! Ha ;) We went to dinner at a Brazilian restaurant in the Channel Island harbor.  The food was dilish, and we always have a good time with each other.  Because we knew Jeff would be working all day yesterday, he surprised me with dinner plans on Monday!  He is always so thoughtful. This past week I have worked really hard on a paper that was due today for English.  The school work load is becoming more and more each week(which I guess should be expected). It was so nice though because the Lomenick family invited Jeff and I over for dinner yesterday. Unfortunately because Jeff was working, he was unable to go. It was a blast hanging out with them and Lynn was kind enough to read through my paper for me. I didn't want to leave because their family is so welcoming and made me feel right at home and I really enjoyed my time spent there. Now back to talking about how amazing my husband is.... He showed up from work with these for me!!!:

Busy

I haven't really blogged much because I started school and I kind of forget I have a blog. So, now to update you all on the Becks. Like I said above, I started school and unfortunately I did not get into the History class.  It's okay though because now I know that I want to take the History class from that professor.  So the classes that I have are English which I go to at 6:30a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, Math at 9:30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and and online Geography of California.  Aside from school I have an announcement about Jeff and I.  I was called as the 2nd Counselor in the Young Women's and Jeff was called to be the Young Men's President!  We love working with the youth in our ward and we are so excited to be called to serve in the Y.W. and Y.M. So far things are going well and time is flying by.  On January 9th was our 6 month mark of our wedding day and it feels like it was just yesterday!  I will be posting pictures soon of a couple things we have been up to lately. Most likely next week. Sorry for the boring post y'all. Hopefully I will have more exciting things to put on here for you in the future!
