Christmas Eve

Hello again it has taken me a little bit to get these pictures up but finally I am posting pictures of Christmas Eve. It was such beautiful weather that on Christmas Eve we took a trip to the beach! After the beach we went to the parents to make gingerbread houses!! This was both Jeff and my first time making them so at least for me it was a little challenging haha.

THE BEACH!
Going to the beach was amazing. We had so much fun and I loved that there was sand instead of snow. I still love that I have had white Christmas's in the past though.

Ginger Bread Houses
Marci and Kenny got the Basua kids stuff to make ginger bread houses for Christmas and kindly got enough supplies that the adults could make some too! It was really fun to see everyones creative juices flow.

Everyone's awesome houses!

Of course Jeff's Dad made a John Deere tractor! Doesn't it look awesome? Good job Dad.

I have a few pictures of Christmas but for some reason I have had a little trouble loading them. So..... I finally gave up.  But I still plan on posting them as soon as I can. as well as some other exciting things we did with the family while they were here! Until then....HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Our First Christmas

This is my first Christmas with Jeff and also my first Christmas in the California sun. The weather was beautiful today! Although I am used to having a white Christmas, I think I can get used to having no snow and beautiful weather on Christmas day. Today the high was 66 degrees according to my phone anyway. It felt much warmer to me though. I took a picture of at the habor to show my fam in Utah how clear of a day it was. :)
Channel Islands Harbor
Since it is Jeff and my first Christmas together we got our own Christmas decorations for out home. :) Jeffs family have always had the privilage of having a real Christmas tree every year. This was a little foriegn to me considering the fact that we always had an artificial tree (which is okay too!). It was very exciting for me to have the experience of choosing our tree and Jeff opening it up to see it was amazing! I love it! So here are all of our pictures.....

First Timer

Well since Jeff and I got hitched I thought it would be appropriate to make a blog for out of state family and friends! (And whoever else is wondering what we are up to). I will be posting again very soon, but for now I am still navigating this thing.
